1. Product Overview

The 14-inch (DN350) lug type butterfly valve from Laux Valve is a heavy-duty flow control solution designed for reliable performance in water supply, wastewater treatment, HVAC, and industrial process systems. This valve features a precision-molded HEPDM (Hydrogenated EPDM) seat — an advanced elastomer that offers superior heat resistance, chemical resistance, and long-term sealing performance compared to standard EPDM rubber.

Equipped with a durable chainwheel operator, this lug butterfly valve enables easy manual operation even in elevated or hard-to-reach installation positions. The chainwheel mechanism provides smooth, geared operation with minimal effort, making it ideal for pipelines installed overhead, in valve pits, or in confined spaces where direct lever access is not feasible.

The lug-style body design incorporates fully threaded bolt holes on both flanges, allowing dead-end service at full rated pressure per Class 150 (PN16) — a critical safety feature for pipeline isolation, downstream maintenance, and end-of-line applications. Manufactured and tested in accordance with API 609, EN 593, and MSS SP-67 standards, this valve delivers leak-free bi-directional shut-off and long-term reliability in demanding service conditions.
